What’s included

Everything your installation cost covers, with nothing hidden.

  • Dog fence boundary design

A layout planned around your specific property, including driveways, pools, gardens, woods, and how your dog uses the yard.

  • Professionally buried wire

Installed with minimal lawn disruption, including clean crossings for beds and hardscape.

  • Transmitter with surge protection

Mounted in a garage or utility space, protected against Virginia summer storms.

  • Receiver collar and training flags

Fitted to your dog, with the settings chosen for your dog instead of left at the factory default.

  • Initial boundary training

The first training session, run with you on installation day, plus all the training materials. Free training help for a year, too, if you need it.

What changes the number

Four things move dog fence pricing.

Every yard is different, so we don’t publish a price grid. The four factors below are what move the number, and whatever they add up to for your property, you’ll have the quote in hand before any work begins.

Property size and layout

More boundary means more wire and more installation time. A quarter-acre subdivision loop and a five-acre wooded perimeter are different projects. That said, acreage is exactly where buried wire beats physical fencing on cost by the widest margin.

Number of dogs

Each dog wears their own receiver collar with their own settings, so additional dogs add equipment and training time. Adding a dog later is straightforward too.

Driveway and hardscape crossings

Paved driveways, sidewalks, and patios are routine, since the wire runs through expansion joints or clean, sealed saw cuts. Each crossing still adds work, though.

Exclusion zones and complex layouts

Keeping the pool deck, garden beds, or play areas off-limits inside the main boundary takes extra wire and design time. It's worth doing, and you'll see it itemized in the quote.

Repairs and service calls

Repair pricing works the same way: diagnose first, quote before fixing.

We handle wire breaks, transmitter faults, and collar issues on our own systems and on systems installed by others. In every case we diagnose the problem, tell you what the fix costs, and only then do the work. We usually locate and splice a wire break in a single visit. Contact us for current diagnostic and service-call pricing.

After the install

Financing up front, low costs after.
