Dave, the owner and operator, was professional, communication was clear, and the installation occurred as expected without any surprises. He provided clear instructions for operating the system and training, and offered some good pointers during a first walk-through/training. The whole experience was great, and the fact that Dave owns the place means that for every step and interaction, he cares about your outcome.
Dave is super responsive and very helpful. My Lucy is an 80 lb hound with a CRAZY chase instinct. The collar stopped her completely once I dialed in the best setting for her. 10/10 would recommend working with Superior Dog Fence!
Dave is very professional and was able to come out and complete a repair to our fence within two days from calling! Unfortunately our line was cut during a neighbors fios installation. But Superior Fence got us back in working order.

We got our 4 acre fence installed about a month ago to contain our 2 dogs. We followed their recommendations with training, and we are now able to let our dogs out with no worries of them leaving their new territory. Superior Fence installed our fence. Dave was prompt, knowledgeable and his price couldn’t be beat. Our two dogs are free to roam. To follow up several months later a landscaper cut the line. Dave was quick to respond, found the cut and we were back in business in no time. Highly recommend!

Install the system
Professional installation is low impact: buried boundary wire, a transmitter with surge protection, a receiver collar, and training flags. Lawns, driveways, woods, gardens, and gates are all routine.

Train and support
Training runs in stages: flags and warning tones first, then turn-back work, then earned freedom. Most dogs are trained within about seven days. We run the first session with you, you run the daily ones, and for a year afterwards we'll come out and work on it with you at no charge if you need it.

We evaluate and repair many underground dog-fence systems regardless of the original installer. A repair often costs far less than a replacement.

Usually a wire break or a power issue. We can diagnose it on the first visit.
Boundary wire break
We locate it with specialized equipment and splice it with waterproof connectors.
Collar not activating
It could be the battery, the fit, or the receiver, so we test all three.

Questions we get a lot.
Are there recurring fees?
No subscription is required for our installed underground systems. Ongoing costs come down to a collar battery about every two years, plus any service you choose to request.
Can several dogs use the same system?
Yes. Each dog wears their own receiver collar, and we adjust the settings per dog. Adding a dog later is straightforward.
Can the boundary cross a driveway?
Yes. Paved and gravel driveways are routine. For paved drives we typically run wire through an expansion joint or a clean saw cut, sealed afterward. You'll barely see it.
Can the system move with me?
The transmitter and collars can move; the buried wire stays. At a new home we design and bury a new boundary and reconnect your existing equipment where compatible.
